Philosophical and legal analysis of Immanuel Kant’s conceptual views on police activities in a legal state

The relevance of this study lies in the fact that the authors conducted a philosophical and legal analysis of I. Kant's conceptual views on the activities of the police in a state governed by the rule of law.Purpose: the publication is devoted to the issues of philosophical and legal understanding by Immanuel Kant of the limits of the competence of the police as a law enforcement agency in the system of public administration. The authors formulated proposals on the advisability of integrating certain aspects of the philosophical heritage of the German thinker into the field of policing, from the point of view of the acceptable participation of the police in certain events associated with the restriction of human rights and aimed at the well-being of society.
