The article discusses the current problem of forming communicative activity in preschool children with general speech disorders. The concept of «communicative activity» is revealed, and the specifics of communicative activity in preschool children with speech disorders are shown. The features of communicative activity in preschool children with speech disorders identified through experimentation are clearly presented in the practice of preschool educational institutions. The data from the ascertaining stage of the study, which was conducted at the Kindergarten of Combined Type №92 in Kemerovo, allowed us to develop, test, and describe the work on the formation of communicative activity in preschool children with general speech disorders through the author's project Theater Studio «Children Speak».
