Development of pragmatic component of communicative competence of students in the process of learning a foreign language

The article deals with the development of the pragmatic component of the communicative competence in the process of learning a foreign language. There is considered a pragmatic component as a necessary condition for the achievement of the result in the different communicative situations. There is analyzed the teaching of such kinds of speech activities as listening with comprehension and reading with comprehension.
