The article deals with the problem of development of universal learning skills of valuation. The article is aimed at the search for conditions, that will allow the teenagers to start evaluating the creative works, having completed at the lessons of the Fine Arts. There is presented the innovative approach to valuation of the still-life paintings, drawn at the lessons of the Fine Arts. The authors developed the exercises allowing the students to make an independent semantic evaluation of the academic works.
