The gender analysis of types and mistakes quantity in the foreign language texts of students

The gender differences in the mistakes of students in the process of studying the German language as a second language are considered. The study is based on the analysis of the Petrozavodsk annotated text corpus. The data confirms that the male students make more mistakes than the female students. There are revealed the most frequent types of mistakes for both groups and the cases where the gender differences in the interlanguage don’t correspond to the tendencies observed in the speech of the native speakers.
