The article deals with the interdisciplinary approach in studying the professional image and its structure. There is formulated the definition of the professional image of a teacher in the context of the standardization of education. There are revealed the structural components of the professional image of a teacher by the means of the content-analysis of the system-forming characteristics in the Federal State Educational Standards and the Professional Standard of a Teacher. The author emphasizes the essence of the professional image of a teacher.
