Infotainment as the technology to create media education projects in the system of professional journalistic education

The article is devoted to the up-to-date sector of modern pedagogy - media design and implementation of media education projects. The subject of the article is the infotainment as media educational technology in the system of professional journalistic education. The object of the article is the technique of designing a media education projects with the use of infotainment technology and the results of media education activity of the students of the Chair of Journalism of Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education, implemented under the guidance of the scientific article author. The aim of this work is the formalisation and analysis of the "infotainment" category as media educational technology, objectivation of its educational potential in the course of mediaproduction. The infotainment, understood in the theory and practice of journalism as a particular format or method of presentation, for the first time is considered as an effective technology for the creation of media educational projects - media educational technology. The article offers author's method of working on projects in the format of infotainment". The printed and electronic projects realized by means of the specified technology at Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education by the author of this scientific article with students of the Chair of Journalism of Philology Department are analyzed. During mediaproduction a high media educational potential of this technology, including in the process of organizing collective work in creative groups is revealed. Methodology - analysis of scientific literature, designing, formative experiment. The results contain an overview of approaches to the interpretation of the "infotainment" category and the author's method of implementation of media educational projects using the "infotainment" technology. The scope of the research results is the media model of professional journalistic education in terms of methodology development and mediaproduction technology. Conclusion. The infotainment is a technology type that is active in the system of design technologies of professional journalistic education aimed at mastery of a set of media competences and formation of demanded specialists for mass media. The use of the infotainment technology can be implemented in projects for different media channels in different symbolic systems.
