The article is devoted to the issues of assessing the environmental and economic balance of large industrial enterprises. In order to study the information content and completeness of reflection of the environmental component in the enterprise management system, a comparative analysis of environmental indicators recommended for assessing the effectiveness of environmental activities was carried out. The system of environmental indicators characterizing the anthropogenic impact on the environment is grouped according to the pressure-state-response model and is supplemented by indicators of the intensity of fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions. The proposed integrated system of environmental indicators is the basis for assessing the level of environmental and economic balance, including from the standpoint of reducing carbon intensity and increasing the efficiency of use of various types of energy.
