The integrational nature of the Eurasian Economic Union: problems of migration

The paper considers the key indicators having influence on migration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union - a new integration union on the post-Soviet space. The author shows main changes in directions of migrant stocks in the 21st century and provides a comparative analysis of these changes. The paper includes debatable questions concerning illegal, unlawful, and legal migration as its different types and compares migration policy of countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and of such international unions, as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the North American Free Trade Agreement.
