The intermediality in the system of the language education in university

The study is devoted to the issue of the implementation of the ideas of the intermediality in the system of the language education in university. There is given the brief historical review of the development of the mediaeducation as the trend of the world pedagogical science, there are considered the concepts of “intermediality” and “intermedial literacy”. The authors present the algorithm of the work of the implementation of the elements of the intermediality in the process of teaching the discipline “The practice of the oral and written speech of the English language”.
