The article discusses the concept and content of canistherapy, briefly describes the history of its occurrence, and also examines the evidence and positive effects of this kind of therapy on people in need of treatment and healthy people. This suggests how canistheraspy can affect the psychological relief of younger students. A lesson programme has been developed to use the elements of canistheraspy for psychological relief for younger students.
