The article deals with the results of the scientific research where there were revealed the peculiarities of the adaptation of the first-year students with disabilities to the conditions of higher education. There is revealed the necessity of the creation of the special conditions. The author describes the normative legal base of the organization of education. There is given the data of the empirical research of the adaptation of the first-year students to the conditions of higher education.
