The completeness and the speed of extraction depend on a number of factors, the relation between raw materials and extragent being one of the main factors. To obtain liquid vegetable extractions various and completely different ratios of the product to the extragent has been recommended. It has been shown that 1:10 ratio is the most acceptable ratio of extragent (water) to pine-tree needles with the particle size of 0.1… 3.0 mm, the extraction temperature of 65°C and exposure of 30 min.
