The issue of study of professional readiness of future public officials in the context of modern reality is considered. The assessment of the level of readiness of future public officials to the innovative activity was conducted with the help of particular empirical estimators, defining the level of knowledge and professionally significant quality and the skills to use the knowledge and their personal potential in the professional activity.
