The article deals with the analysis of the changes in solving the professional tasks of the higher school teacher while working in the digital educational environment. There are revealed the system interrelations in solving the different groups of the tasks. There are illustrated the new components of the pedagogical competencies that are necessary for the teacher in the context of the dynamic processes of the digitalization of the society and education and the corresponding renewal of the views toward the professional training in the higher educational institutions.
