The paper deals with the dialect lexical units with the semantics of age as part of «senior-junior» opposition. The examples illustrate the verbalization in the dialects of the first component («the elder») of the opposition. The paper proves the national and cultural specificity of the subethnos, based on the lexical peculiarities of dialectal lexemes' being.
