Economic and legal mechanisms for the development of urban territories in the Russian Federation

The relevance of the study is related to the need to study the features of the application of economic and legal mechanisms in the development of urban areas in Russia. Based on it, the result of a scientific article is the definition and analysis of the characteristics of economic and legal mechanisms in managing the development of urban areas in the Russian Federation (RF). The actual problems of strategic management of the development of urban areas in modern Russia, as well as the factors of their low efficiency, are identified. The paper considers the prerequisites for the formation of urban areas with advanced development in Russia. The role of national projects as legal mechanisms in the development of urban areas is determined.
