Предмет обзора - популяционные исследования по эпидемиологии и выживаемости рака ободочной кишки (РОК). Проведён анализ литературы по регистровой эпидемиологии РОК, изучены временные эпидемиологические модели РОК. Представлены данные эпидемиологических исследований по оценке факторов риска развития РОК. Анализ литературы показывает существенные различия в уровнях и динамике заболеваемости и смертности в различных географических регионах. Проанализированы данные опубликованных исследований по оценке выживаемости при РОК. Выживаемость при РОК, оцененная на популяционном уровне, варьирует в широких пределах между странами и в большинстве регионов имеет тенденцию роста. Обсуждены факторы, влияющие на популяционные тренды выживаемости при РОК.
