On the problem of teaching foregn language communication within the textocentrism concept

The problems of foreign language teaching within textocentrism concept are discussed. The main theoretical issues of the adjacent concepts are briefly characterized, text functions, their advantages in translating and retetranslating the culture are discussed. Text advantages in view of demonstrating the functioning of the language material, sequence of presenting the texts depending on the teaching stage and thematic module are discussed.
