The peculiarities of professional pedagogical training of the staff for the educational institutions of primary and secondary education in the Central African Republic are considered. The ways of reforming the system of professional training of teachers, including the reorganization of the institutions, preparing the pedagogical staff for primary and secondary school, the creation of new training centers and the change of the teachers’ status, are identified.
