The article deals with the issue of the necessity of studying the education of children with special educational needs – children with autism spectrum disorders with the phenomenon of “double exceptionality”. There is given the review of the literature of the theme of the study, there are given the results of the primary observation for the children with autism spectrum disorders on the basis of Municipal Autonomous Educational Institution “School 96 Eureka-Development” in 2019–2020.
