Clinical and Functional Evaluation of Effectiveness of Tissue Plant-Based Preparations in Cows Suffering from Traumatic Reticulitis

The paper presents the results of a clinical and functional study on efficiency of herbal tissue preparations in treating traumatic reticulitis of cows. Holstein cows in the waning stage of their third lactation have been involved in the study. The treatment has included the removal of foreign bodies from the reticulum with a magnetic probe, followed by therapy with potatoand aloe-based tissue preparations. Tissue preparations present an effective addition to traditional treatment of traumatic reticulitis in cows. This technique improves the overall condition of the animals and reduces inflammation. The study emphasizes the importance of monitoring hematological and biochemical parameters to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy. The proposed method can be used as part of a comprehensive program for the treatment and prevention of traumatic reticulitis. This study opens up prospects for using herbal tissue preparations in veterinary practice.
