The cross-industry specialization of the profile discipline “English language” as a condition of high professional demand for a graduate of vocational education

The article reveals the reasons for the unsatisfactory result of English language teaching in the specialty profile in the vocational school. The comparative analysis of teaching materials and textbooks on the discipline “Foreign language in the profession” of several vocational schools has identified the causes and factors of inefficiency of professional training methods of foreign and domestic schools currently being implemented. The brief conclusions and recommendations are proposed for the formation of a conceptually updated, systematic process of teaching specialized and multidisciplinary English to students of vocational schools.
