The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in foreign language teaching is currently being actively discussed. Some researchers see these tools as the end of human creativity in learning, while others see great potential for developing critical thinking and strengthening the creative skills that are essential to the language learning process.This article argues that generative AI can contribute to language learning in various fields. Modern tools have linguistic and didactic potential that can significantly expand the foreign language practice of students and bring the educational process to a new level in terms of solving cognitive tasks. Didactic proposals are presented, the purpose of which is to demonstrate the learning potential of generative artificial intelligence tools in teaching foreign languages.
