Linguocultural component of teaching Russian language of foreign students (based on the toponyms of Rostov-on-Don)

The article deals with the issue of the adaptation of foreign students in Rostov-on-Don in the aspect of the acquittance with the city’s toponymy that is presented by the official and nonofficial names used in the youth’s speech. The last ones are evaluated from the position of such an actively developing the direction of the linguistics as the language ecology. There is suggested the author’s conception of the creation of the local oriented dictionary of slang for foreigners to prevent the communicative failures.
