The article deals with the definition of the specific weight and significance of the material of the Modern History of Oriental Countries in the course of history at the level of the basic general education. There is substantiated the necessity of the change of the methodological approaches to teaching the school course of the oriental history and the reasonability of the refusal of the countries’ principle during the study of the Modern History of Oriental Countries.
