The methodology of essay writing based on the results of study tour in the course of teaching Russian as a foreign language at the Preparation Department (at the example of walk around the Exhibition of Economic Achievements)

The gradual methodology of conducting the study tour at the Preparation Department for foreign citizens with essay writing at its final stage is suggested. The study tour is considered as the important component of the educational process allowing to develop the sociocultural competence of foreigners. The essay writing is evaluated as an individual work, consolidating the lexical and grammatical skills and describing the creative potential of students.
