Intercultural education in the context of teaching the russian language as a foreign language

The article deals with the issues of the multicultural education in Russia. The intercultural approach is considered in the context of teaching the Russian Language as a Foreign Language. There are suggested the different forms of the intercultural education and the experience of the organization of the extracurricular activities on the basis of Astrakhan State Medical University. There was revealed in the result of the research that the extracurricular activities increase the students’ interest to the Russian language.
