Ideological features of music culture and music education in China and Russia

The article deals with the features of development of musical culture and music education in China and Russia. The author examines the role of ideology in the formation of the modern musical education. Particular attention is paid to the establishment and development of education in the field of pop music art, as well as the process of interaction of musical educational institutions of China and Russia on the development of joint programs, publication of educational, methodological and research materials.
