The essence of model of teaching methods of development of prognostic competence of students in technical colleges, consisting of four structural components (motivating and value-based, cognitive, instrumental, reflexive and correctional), is considered. The complex of didactic principles (professional direction, activity, independence, systematic approach, integration, integrity, correspondence to the profession’s requirements, variety of educational forms, personal approach, collectivity, objective diagnostics, etc.), defining the logic of development of content of structural components of model in the context of use of digital technologies, is revealed.
