The article deals with the description of the model of the psychological competence of future teachers in the field of the ideas of the pragmatist psychology and the modernization of the professional pedagogical education. The psychological competence as the system of the internal resource of the teacher is considered from the perspectives 1) the structure represented by the theoretical, instrumental and personal components; 2) the content of the professional tasks of the pedagogical activities; 3) the level of the development.
