The model of the implementation of the principle of regional studies in the modern propaedeutic course “The world around us”

The article deals with the model of the implementation of the principle of the regional studies in the modern propaedeutic course “The World around us”. There are revealed the aims, tasks and stages of the organization of the regional studies of the younger schoolchildren. There are given the examples of the projects of the regional studies’ content that can be used in the school practice for the pupils of the 3rd form (on the basis of the regional peculiarities of the People’s Republic of Donetsk). The authors describe the didactic components of the development of the knowledge of the regional studies.
