Teaching primary school children foreign language dialogic speech: history and modernity

The article deals with the analysis of the history of the formation of the Russian methodology of teaching foreign-language dialogic speech. The issues of foreign language dialogic speech in primary school age are examined. The methodological systems of teaching this type of speech activity are considered along with the works of the scientists who have made a significant contribution to solving the problem of foreign language dialogic speech skills’ formation of younger schoolchildren.
