The peculiarities of thinking of modern teenagers, specifying the short duration of attention of the sixth grade students, are considered. The learning and teaching support kit “Spotlight” for the sixth grade is analyzed, on its basis there are chosen the additional tasks, detailing that the development of conditions of productive teaching in reading with account of clip way of thinking is impossible supported only by the finished material of the previous years.
