В статье дается краткий аналитический обзор зарубежного опыта производства допроса, раскрываются общие принципы, а также этапы производства опроса по канадской модели допроса, известной как «Progressive Interviewing Model» или «Phase Model». Основное внимание уделяется структуре и принципам модели, которая разделяет процесс допроса на несколько последовательных этапов. Каждый этап направлен на достижение конкретных целей, таких как установление доверия, сбор информации, проверка ее достоверности и завершение взаимодействия. Особое внимание уделяется гибкости модели, позволяющей адаптировать процесс допроса к индивидуальным особенностям допрашиваемого и специфике дела. Рассматриваются отзывы и результаты изучения практики применения этого метода. Приводится сопоставление данной методики допроса с методиками допроса «The Reid Technique» и «P.E.A.C.E. Interview Мodel», которые использовались при создании рассматриваемой модели. В заключение делается вывод о том, что «Progressive Interviewing Model» представляет собой достаточно эффективный инструмент для проведения допросов, который имеет свои недостатки. Статья будет интересна как теоретикам, так и практикам, занимающимся вопросами следственной деятельности.

Overview of foreign interrogation methods: the Canadian "progressive interviewing model" or "phase model"
The article provides a brief analytical review of foreign experience in conducting interrogations. In particular, it outlines the general principles and stages of the Canadian interrogation model known as the "Progressive Interviewing Model" or "Phase Model." The main focus is on the structure and principles of the model, which divides the interrogation process into several sequential stages. Each stage is aimed at achieving specific goals, such as establishing trust, gathering information, verifying its accuracy, and concluding the interaction. Special attention is paid to the flexibility of the model, which allows adapting the interrogation process to the individual characteristics of the person being questioned and the specifics of the case. Reviews and results of studying the practical application of this method are discussed. A comparison of this interrogation technique with other methods, such as "The Reid Technique" and the "P.E.A.C.E. Interview Model," which were used in the development of the reviewed model, is provided. In conclusion, it is noted that the "Progressive Interviewing Model" is a fairly effective tool for conducting interrogations, although it has certain drawbacks. This article will be of interest to both theorists and practitioners involved in investigative activities.
