The evaluation of the level of the socialization of the schoolchildren with the intellectual disabilities

The article deals with the results of the approbation of the author’s methodology of the evaluation of the life competencies of the primary school-aged children with the mental defectiveness. The complete version of the methodology includes 7 components, the approbation was realized by 4 items. The evaluation of the level of the development of the socialization’s skills can be conducted on three point scale. The involvement of the parents in the monitoring allowed to increase their interest in the successfulness of the correctional and developmental work and supported the engagement in the process of mastering the life competencies by the primary school-aged children with the mental defectiveness.
