Online learning at the platform ‘Moodle’ as the environment of the formation of the academic autonomy of the students at universities

The article deals with the generalization of the experience of the studies of the European and Russian scientists, concerning the issue of the academic autonomy. There is described the experimental training of the students of Institute of Foreign Languages in People’s Friendship University of Russia. The results and conclusions have demonstrated that the electronic courses at the platform ‘MOODLE’ are the valuable resources that has substantiated its efficiency in the formation of the academic autonomy of the students and contributed in the development of the students’ independence, their self-discipline and responsibility.
