Determination of stressstrain curves in surface layers of metallic material by indentation and scratch-test

In this study, new method of determination of stress-strain curves using indentation and scratch-test was described. The main idea of the method was comparison indentation and scratch-test results receiving by simulation and experiment. Nanoindentation and scratch-test with the Berkovich indenter was conducted on a commercial instrument Hysitron TriboIndenter TI 900. The considered method allowed to research surface layers of metallic material.
