The peculiarities of the monitoring of the knowledge, skills and abilities in the process of teaching the post graduate students of the foreign language

The article deals with the new approach to evaluating the level of the knowledge of the postgraduate students of the non-linguistic profiles by the discipline “Foreign language” in National Research Ogarev Mordovia State University, that was determined by the new concept of training the academic and teaching staff in the postgraduate study. The author describes the experience of the organization of the control of the knowledge and skills of the students, when the cooperation of the monitoring’s components - evaluative means, test, examination - arranges the process of the practical inclusion of the post graduate student in a new educational format and allows the lecturer to use all the functions of the monitoring for the improvement of the quality of the students’ training.
