The written translation in the structure of the professional training of the linguist students

The article deals with the concept of the translator’s competence in terms of the documents, regulating the mastering of the basic educational program: the Federal State Standard 3++ and the Occupational Standard of Translator. There are compared the concepts of the translator’s competence and the competencies, suggested to master by the Federal State Educational Standard and the Occupational Standard of the Translator.
