Последствия воздействия повышенного шума на слух жителей г. Калабар (Нигерия)

Последствия воздействия шума на слух жителей г. Калабар (Нигерия) оценены с использованием субъективных и объективных критериев. Анкета, включающая 39 вопросов, использовалась для оценки субъективного восприятия шума. В шумных (с уровнями шума выше 80 дБА) и тихих районах (с уровнями шума ниже 50 дБА) города в исследование было вовлечено по 1000 человек, выбранных случайным образом. Результаты аудиометрических измерений использовались для оценки остроты слуха респондентов и для определения, действительно ли шум отрицательно влияет на слух в районах с высокими уровнями окружающего шума. Выполнен анализ результатов исследования.
