Preferential right to conclude a land plot lease agreement for a new term

The scientific article considers the preferential right of the lessee to conclude a contract for a new term in relation to the lease of land plots. In order to reveal the topic, the author examines the historical aspect of the appearance of this right of the tenant in the domestic legislation, its legal essence from the point of view of the division of rights into property and obligations, as well as the features of modern legal regulation of this issue. At the end of the work, the author formulates the provisions that must be taken into account by land users for the successful implementation of the right to conclude a new contract in priority with respect to third parties.
