Overcoming ethnic stereotypes in the context of language education (at the example of teaching the Russian language as a foreign language)

The ways of overcoming ethnic stereotypes through the prism of the educational process are considered. The methods, means of work and principles of selection of training material, encouraging the decrease of influence of negative stereotypes and the development of positive comprehension of the country of the studied language, are analyzed.
