The issue of subject’s becoming a future professional in the context of university education is considered. There is suggested the solution of this issue in the methodology of holistic approach and cognitive sciences, composing the interdisciplinary knowledge of personal professional and cognitive processes. Based on the analysis of studies, uncovering the essence of holistic approach and interdisciplinary knowledge, there are specified the directions of higher professional education and the potential of its principal reconstruction.
