Problems of customs administration

The Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia declares an improvement in the quality of customs administration in Russia, however, the main measures to improve customs administration, enshrined in official government and departmental plans, keep the basic technologies and business processes unchanged, which means that the main problems are preserved. As a result, Russia lags behind developed and even many developing countries in the area of customs administration in international ratings. In this article, the author analyzes the problems of customs administration and the prospects for their solution.
