The active implementation of information technologies in the educational process is underlined. The program for the creation of tests and online testing system INDIGO and its usage in the educational process are considered. There is described the development of the means of the distance control of the linguodidactic competence for the future teachers of foreign languages in the process of professional training with the use of the testing system INDIGO. The prospects of further studies are defined.
