There is divulged the educational potential of traditional public pedagogy of Dagestan people, oriented on Islam as doctrine, the values of Islam culture in family upbringing. There is analyzed the universal priorities in upbringing, the ways of their realization in the spirit of Islam, the peculiarities in correspondence with national presentation and realities of the contemporary sociocultural situation.
