The role of immersive simulator in the professional training of students of university to the pedagogical activity

The primary usage of immersive simulator in the process of professional training of university’s students to the pedagogical activity is specified. The advantages and potential, in comparison with the other educational technologies and forms of organization of educational process at university, are characterized. There are defined and semantically developed the functions of immersive simulator (quasi-professional, immersive, reflexive and integrative), providing the qualitative professional training of students at university to the pedagogical activity.
