The role of national and cultural traditions of the Tuvans in the process of organization of the social and cultural activities of future teachers of primary school is considered. The role of traditional values, customs and ceremonies in the development of the students’ personalities and their influence on the organization of the social and cultural activities are analyzed. There are presented the results of empirical study, conducted among the future teachers of primary school in Tuva State University. On the basis of the acquired results of study there are drawn conclusions about the specific features of the social and cultural work in the conditions of multicultural environment with consideration of the national and cultural traditions of the Tuvans.
