Social and Economic Indicators of Healthcare in the Republic of Buryatia

The article analyzes the current state of the healthcare system in the Republic of Buryatia based on the main key analytical social and economic and statistical indicators. Problems and imbalances in resource distribution based on the Republic of Buryatia's geographic features, as well as high rates of preventable mortality, have been identified. The development and widespread use of telemedicine in healthcare is becoming increasingly important. The paper focuses on the acute problem of personnel shortages in the healthcare sector, based on data from Rosstat, the Russian Ministry of Health, and regional reports. The focus is on the implementation and use of screening programs to reduce infant mortality, digitalization, and a new human resources policy with an emphasis on economic and logistical efficiency.
